My father owned this boat since the early 80's and I've owned it since 2006. It has not been winterized since my father bought it. Every year, at seasons end, it has been trailered from Falls of Rough, KY (Rough River) to Philpot, KY where it is kept in a climate controlled building. On top of that, the boat has been totally remodeled several times over the years.
The netting you see around the boat was installed by me in 2006 for child safety. The screen doors, both front and rear, have high mounted chain locks for child safety as well. Basically, you can secure one screen door if your hanging out at the opposite end and not worry about young children sneaking out the back. It's a little added peace of mind.
Features:
Sleeps 8 (master full bed, 2 bunks, dinette sleeper, hide-a-bed couch), Norcold gas/elec fridge, anchor windlasses (Front & Rear), custom mounted gas grill, two 30 lb LP tanks, dual stainless steel flag poles, rear mounted 12 ft mooring whips (one side needs a new pole), Onan 6.5 kw generator, Xantrex 1,750 watt power inverter, ProMariner ProTech 1240i Plus 3 bank battery charger (new in 2010), one engine battery, three 125 ah D29 coach batteries, microwave, elec. water heater, remote spot light, 22" HD LCD TV, 20" TV/VCR combo, Trac Star auto tracking satellite dish, Alpine CDA-9886M CD Receiver w/ remote and iPod control, two sets of Bose speaker systems w/ subs inside cabin, Bose outdoor speakers outside (front & rear), Hummingbird 400TX fishfinder, Shakespeare SE2001 marine radio
Items that need fixing:
- two small soft spots on upper deck
- soft wall near window by front tv
- air horns (I haven't even looked at it yet, so I haven't a clue. I will update if I can get time to take a look.)
- will eventually need new carpet on outside and bumpers. If I was keeping it, I'd be fine with it for a couple more years.
